How to Contribute
Help ensure YWCA Metropolitan Chicago’s 145-year legacy of empowering women continues by giving a gift of securities, a gift of memory or honor, or by naming YWCA Metropolitan Chicago in your will. This thoughtful contribution will help to preserve our existing programs and expand our work to support future generations. It’s a simple way to make a sizeable impact.
Bequests (or gifts through a donor’s will) are the most common type of planned charitable gift received by YWCA Metropolitan Chicago. Typically, a donor sets aside a certain dollar amount or percentage of their estate, or a specific asset to benefit the YWCA. The donor’s estate will receive a charitable tax deduction upon his or her death when the gift is made to charity. Bequests help the YWCA launch and also support important community programs, and prepare the organization for future growth.

“I give to YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, whose office address is 1 N. LaSalle Street, Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60602, ___________ (insert either a specific dollar amount or a percentage of my estate) for ______________________ (general purposes).”
