SUPPORTING SUPERVISORS: A TRAINING IN REFLECTIVE SUPERVISION
Many social workers and counselors in supervisory roles receive little to no formalized education or training to become a supervisor. As a result, those with clinical supervisory responsibilities often feel “in the dark” and lack confidence in their supervisory skills. In this interactive training, you will:
Receive a comprehensive framework of Reflective Supervision (RS)
Discuss ways to introduce and implement RS
Reflect on the role of power dynamics, culture, and ethics in supervision
Learn ways to offer feedback to supervisees
Explore ways to address common supervisory challenges.
Receive a certificate of attendance for 6 Continuing Education Units (CEU's)
Speakers: Mikayla Vosler, LCSW & Gwendolyn Tinajero-Belles, LCSW, ATR-BC
