SUPPORTING SUPERVISORS: A TRAINING IN REFLECTIVE SUPERVISION

Many social workers and counselors in supervisory roles receive little to no formalized education or training to become a supervisor. As a result, those with clinical supervisory responsibilities often feel “in the dark” and lack confidence in their supervisory skills. In this interactive training, you will:

  • Receive a comprehensive framework of Reflective Supervision (RS)

  • Discuss ways to introduce and implement RS

  • Reflect on the role of power dynamics, culture, and ethics in supervision

  • Learn ways to offer feedback to supervisees

  • Explore ways to address common supervisory challenges.

  • Receive a certificate of attendance for 6 Continuing Education Units (CEU's)

Speakers: Mikayla Vosler, LCSW & Gwendolyn Tinajero-Belles, LCSW, ATR-BC
